| Circling the
extremely ancient site of Carrowmore
are several hills, mountains and mountain ranges capped with cairns. The
largest existing cluster is at what is called Carrowkeel. A visit here
on a clear day provides the bonus of a panoramic view of up to almost a
third of Ireland in addition to the ambience, peace and spiritual connection
that the ancients discovered. |
